Who We Are

Hi, I’m Lesley Turner founder of Call To Action Stories (CTAS). Like so many, my family and I were displaced after the 2025 LA fires and have been living and working remotely from a temporary home in the Pacific Palisades. It’s been a humbling experience to say the least and I am so grateful to be in a community that truly cares and supports it’s neighbors.

The rest of our team are a growing freelance crew of talented female video journalists and editors I’ve had the great fortune to work with.

Our Commitment to Community

Fire Relief Support: We're partnering with PR professionals at LA Strong Comms Coalition (LASCC) to provide pro bono video services for small businesses impacted by the fires. LASCC clients include Jigsaw Farms, PlayLab Beauty, and This Girl Walks Into A Bar among many others. 

Youth Development: We mentor emerging storytellers through LA County's Youth@Work program. Because our student mentees are paid by the county, we can keep our rates competitive and deliver quality work at a lower cost.
