There’s a Japanese philosophy known as Wabi Sabi I have long aligned myself with. In the simplest of terms, it means to accept and honor the beauty of our lives and the world, imperfections and all. The art of kintsugi illustrates this tangibly where artists repair broken pottery with gold, rendering a new piece that is even more beautiful than it was before.
I often see myself as a Kintsugi artist, repairing the broken pieces of my past, each piece giving me the clarity and vision of a much more beautiful future.
With the formation of Call to Action Stories, I continue over 25 years of experience as a direct response writer and video producer helping nonprofits, B-Corp businesses and individuals with purpose with fundraising and outreach videos.
My passion for books and authors led me to add book trailers and video proposals to help new writers get published.
Launching in March 2025, FORevHER Remembered will offer living legacy and milestone video tributes for women+. Similar to memoirs, these videos will capture the special stories of our lives and the lives of those women we love.
I am so grateful for my daughters, friends and all those who have cheered and supported me on my journey thus far. This is truly my ikigai (yet another Japanese philosophy I love), combining what I love to do with what can be of service to others.
